Phones back at Arlington Hts. Village Hall

Phones at the Arlington Heights Village Hall came back online around 12:30 p.m. today, after being out since 5 or 5:30 a.m.

Scott Shirley, director of public works, said the system went down because of a computer malfunction and outside technicians were on site. The outage did not affect the 911 service, and some email into Village Hall was working, while some was not.

The village website, www.vah.com continued to be operational.
