Hainesville bike path celebration

Hainesville plans a celebration for completion of a bicycle path Saturday. The festivities are 9 to 10 a.m. at the bicycle path off Hainesville Road and across from village hall. Scheduled to participate in the Hainesville Road bike path ribbon-cutting ceremony are Martin Buehler and Paula Trigg from the Lake County Department of Transportation and Hainesville resident Margaret Bucich. Bicycle helmets will be sold at the event, which also will feature giveaways such as sport water bottles, refreshments and Illinois Bicycle Rules of the Road books.
