Military career expo in Hoffman Estates

Military.com and the Non Commissioned Officers Association are hosting a free military career expo for the benefit of transitioning military service members, veterans and their families. The expo takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 24 at the Chicago Marriott Northwest, 4800 Hoffman Blvd., in Hoffman Estates.

Colleges, universities and technical schools will be on hand to provide information about their programs and how individuals can use their military benefits to further their educations. Companies and corporations seeking individuals with military training and experience will also be available.

Proceeds from the expo will be donated to Sears Holdings’ Heroes at Home organization, which provides necessary repairs or adaptations to homes of military families facing hardships. For more information call (800) 662-2620 or visit military.com.
