Bartlett 4, South Elgin 0: The Hawks defeated the Storm in the Upstate Eight Valley behind a 1-hitter from Robert Sadowski (4-3). Dan Gallanis had a double and an RBI for Bartlett (16-18, 11-13). Ryan Ford's infield single was the only hit for South Elgin (17-11, 14-9). Eric Stacy (4-3) took the loss for the Storm.

Burlington Central 3, DeKalb 2: Riley Jensen (8-2) tossed a 2-hitter and Tanner Scott hit his 12th home run of the season to lead the Rockets (23-8) to a nonconference win. Zach Ranney was 2-for-4 and Cody Wallace's RBI double in the sixth inning, followed by Clem Acitelli's RBI single won it for BC.

CL Central 9, Hampshire 2: Tyler Crater had a home run for the Whip-Purs in this Fox Valley Conference Fox Division loss. Dan Keller took the loss for Hampshire (12-15, 6-13).
