Community stormwater solutions

The Bull Creek-Bull’s Brook Watershed Council will host a brown bag luncheon seminar at noon Wednesday, May 23 at the Lake County Central Permit Facility, 500 W. Winchester Road, Libertyville. The topic will be “Implementing Community-Driven Stormwater Solutions” presented by Josh Ellis, program director, and Abby Crisostomo, program associate for the Metropolitan Planning Council. The pair will discuss the Milwaukee Avenue green infrastructure grant program, smart downspout disconnection, and some new funding sources that could be useful in implementing such projects.
