Chicago man gets life for cocaine sales in Iowa
DAVENPORT, Iowa — A 37-year-old Chicago man has been given life in a federal prison for conspiring to sell crack cocaine in the eastern Iowa city of Davenport.
Federal prosecutors say Damon O’Neil was sentenced on Thursday. O’Neil was convicted in January of conspiring to sell crack from May 2010 through Jan. 23, 2011.
Prosecutors say O’Neil hauled crack from Chicago to Davenport and used a network of people to redistribute the drug.
