Nominees are needed for chamber honors

Nominations are now open for the 2012 Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards, which recognizes members of the community who care.

Sponsored by the Buffalo Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, the awards are in their second year and honor people and businesses in the categories of Community, Senior and Youth Volunteers, Above and Beyond, Business Philanthropy, Teach & Inspire and Together We Can.

The Heart of Buffalo Grove Awards will be presented at a Celebration Gala Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Arboretum Club in Buffalo Grove.

The chamber encourages residents and businesses of Buffalo Grove to make nominations. Information is available on the chambers website, www.buffalogrovechamber.org. More than one nomination per person is allowed. Nominations must be received by Monday, Sept. 10.

The chamber encourages businesses that serve the community to promote their business at the awards banquet. Sponsor forms are also available on the chambers website.
