Elk Grove Leo Club gives back

The Elk Grove Leo Club, a junior organization of the Elk Grove Lions Club, recently raised $500 to send fifth-grader Jack Falejczyk to Camp Lions this summer. Camp Lions is a camp operated by the Lions Club for the hearing and visually impaired. The check was presented at the monthly Leo Club meeting.

In addition to this, they donated $500 benefiting the Lions project for Canine Companions to help purchase a service dog for a child or adult with disabilities and also donated $150 to the Haitian Health Foundation to purchase a pregnant goat for a Haitian Family. Haiti is still in great need of help and the goat provides milk which is a source of food and income.
