Rolling Meadows man, 73, found

A 73-year-old man who was reported missing by Mount Prospect police last week has been found, police announced Monday night.

Robert J. Smith went missing from his temporary residence at an assisted care living facility on the 2800 block of Algonquin Road on the morning of May 2. Police said Smith was last seen leaving the facility in a wheelchair and was thought to be visiting an acquaintance in Chicago.

On Monday night, police announced he had been found but released no information regarding his whereabouts.
