BELOIT, Wis. — Scoring 4 runs in the final two innings helped lift the Kane County Cougars to a 7-4 victory over the Beloit Snappers on Saturday afternoon at Pohlman Field in the first of a four-game series.

Runey Davis put the Cougars (14-15) on the board in the top of the third with his first home run of the season, a 2-run shot. Murray Watts added his fifth homer of the season in the fifth inning to put the Cougars up 3-1.
