Asking for fair and just campaign

I’ve subscribed to both Tammy Duckworth’s email updates as well as Joe Walsh’s email updates. I’m extremely interested in who represents me in the new 8th Congressional district. In Ms. Duckworth’s latest email, she states “Unlike Walsh, our campaign won’t have Super PAC backers like Koch Industries and Citizens United — and we’re proud of that. But that means we’re counting on supporters like you to make up the difference. We need your help — now and in November.”

Recently CREDO, a liberal super PAC, opened an office in the 8th District to support Tammy Duckworth. I question her honesty by telling me and her potential constituents she won’t have Super PAC backers when she clearly has one. The Daily Herald also reported that CREDO was going to open the office, so if the Herald knew it was going to happen, so did Ms. Duckworth.

I’d like to see multiple debates in this campaign. I want to see and hear both sides so I can make an informed decision as to who I want representing me in congress. Name calling, spinning the facts and outright lying have no place in this race. I ask both sides to give us a fair and just campaign.
