Vista, Gurnee Mills sponsor May 10 Healthy Fair & Fashion Show

Women are invited to start their Mother's Day celebration early at Ladies' Night Out, a free health fair and fashion show on Thursday evening, May 10, at Gurnee Mills.

The event includes free appetizers, giveaways, raffles and more. It will be held inside Entrance G in the northwest corner of the mall (near Shoppers World and Burlington Coat Factory). Sponsored by Vista Health System and Gurnee Mills, Ladies' Night Out is free to all women with no reservations required.

The evening begins with a health fair at 6 p.m. that focuses on three of the most critical areas of their health – stroke, breast cancer and nutrition/weight management. Vista physicians, nurses and other medical experts will be on hand to provide women with various kinds of health information. The fair will include free cholesterol screenings, chair massages, appetizers, beverages and more.

The fashion show kicks off at 7:30 on the Gurnee Mills stage adjacent to the health fair. It will feature more than 60 spring/summer outfits designed for women in their mid-20s and up. The fashions are being provided by leading Gurnee Mills retailers, including: dressbarn; Group USA, The Clothing Company; Lane Bryant Outlet; Last Call, Neiman Marcus; Nike Factory Store; Off 5th, Saks Fifth Avenue Outlet; and Windsor.

The first 50 women to the fair receive a free gift bag with assorted mall coupons for discounts and special offers from selected stores at Gurnee Mills (one per attendee). All health fair attendees are automatically entered in a raffle for great prizes with winners announced during the fashion show.
