SPRINGFIELD — Would Mom like Futters Nut Butters or Honey Wafers?

Mother's Day gifts from Illinois food and agribusiness companies are featured on the Illinois Department of Agriculture's website.

The agency's marketing bureau asked for gift ideas from Illinois-based businesses. The responses are posted online with links to the companies selling the products.

There are Futters almond butter and other spreads and crispy Honey Wafers sandwiched with candy filling. Other choices include Ying's Chinese Cookbook, treats from Garrett Popcorn and Organic Fruity Hearts by Natural Candy Store.
