‘Cash Jackpot’ winner from Des Plaines

An unidentified Des Plaines man is the Illinois Lottery’s latest “$3 Million Cash Jackpot” winner. On Wednesday, May 2, Lottery officials will present the winner with a check for $1 million, and give Shop & Save, 518 Metropolitan Way, a bonus check of $10,000 for selling the winning ticket. The $3 Million Cash Jackpot is an instant lottery game, with tickets costing $30. An Illinois Lottery news release said the money will go toward college for the winner’s 2-year-old twin boys and his life-long dream of having his own business.
