Yogurtland opens in AH
Make your own frozen yogurt creations at the new Yogurtland in Arlington Heights. A grand opening party takes place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 5, and if you're one of the first 100 people in the door, your scoop is free. Yogurtland offers 16 flavors and more than 35 toppings in a salad-bar-style, pay-by-the-ounce set up.

Chicago Prime adds gluten-free options
Chicago Prime beefs up its gluten-free entree offerings with sauteed shrimp in a Thai buffalo glaze, seared ahi tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes, filet mignon, New York sirloin, bone-in sirloin, rib-eye and porterhouse. G-free steak styles include Cajun, peppercorn, roasted garlic, Gorgonzola and raw horseradish. Desserts include flourless chocolate cake, creme brulee and Key lime pie.

Dancing and dinner
Sit in on a group ballroom dancing lesson and then grab some grub at Mickey Finn's from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, May 6. Co-owners of the Ballroom Dance Studio will give a group lesson in the restaurant's private Amber Room. Lessons will be followed by appetizers. $20 per person and includes a free lesson at the studio's Vernon Hills or Northbrook locations. Reservations required.
