Pitching matchups: The White Sox’ Chris Sale (2-1) vs. Ubaldo Jimenez (2-1) Tuesday; Philip Humber (1-1) vs. Josh Tomlin (1-2) Wednesday; John Danks (2-3) vs. Justin Masterson (0-2) Thursday. All games 7:10 p.m.

At a glance: After dropping three of four to Boston, the White Sox close their homestand vs. the Indians. The White Sox won two straight at Cleveland earlier in the season. The middle game was postponed due to weather. Paul Konerko was named AL Player of the Week after batting .435 (10-for-23) with 3 doubles, 3 home runs and 4 RBI. Konerko was held out of Sunday’s game vs. the Red Sox with a stiff neck, but he is expected to play against the Indians. Cleveland signed veteran Johnny Damon, and he is scheduled to play left field.
