Retired teachers meeting:

The Lake County Retired Teachers Association (LCRTA) will have its annual spring meeting at noon on May 8 at the Illinois Beach State Park Conference and Resort Center in Zion on the Lake Michigan shore. The cost is $22 per person and as is the case with all the spring and fall luncheons, reservations are required. The program will be “The Mystery of Living, Packing for Syria with Agatha Christie”, which was adapted and will be performed by Betsy Means. Christie, an author, is well known to all mystery lovers as the “Queen of Crime”. In June, LCRTA will return to its usual meeting place, Lambs Farm in Libertyville and the usual second Tuesday of the month with no reservations required.
