Ilonka performs at Community Church of Rolling Meadows

The Community Church of Rolling Meadows, 2720 Kirchoff Road, will host Girls Night Out, a two-hour event held in churches across the U.S. and Canada, at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 28.

Singer/songwriter Ilonka, who has performed worldwide and has worked with Rebecca St. James, Paul Coleman, and Phil Keaggy, will share her journey from growing up in South Africa to her move to the U.S.  Her testimony draws audiences into the story of God’s redemption and hope.

The evening engages women with humor and inspires them with hope through comedy, storytelling and fellowship. It is designed to bring women together to celebrate each other in a spirit of encouragement, inspiration and fun.
