Villa Park man charged with burglary
A 46-year-old Villa Park faces charges of residential burglary and driving with a revoked license in connection with a residential burglary that occurred last month, authorities said Wednesday.
Villa Park police said they stopped Robert A. Van Dyke as he was driving Monday near Ardmore Avenue and West Terrace Street and took him into custody without incident.
Police said the burglary occurred March 20 on the 100 block of West Terrace. They said detectives were able to recover jewelry taken in the burglary at a pawn shop in Chicago.
