Bakersfield opens
Bakersfield Restaurant opens this week with seating to accommodate 175, with room for 48 on the patio and 23 at the bar. Executive chef Brian Wright's signature entrees include the barrel-cut filet with wilted spinach and red bliss smashed potatoes, and the 96-hour marinated Cajun rib-eye with loaded baked potato. New pizza joint in Lisle
Pizzeria Bombola Burgers and Brews opened recently in Lisle with signature thin-crust pizzas made from scratch. The restaurant boasts a variety of burgers including a turkey burger, Alaskan salmon burger and a “melt in your mouth” burger made with meat from Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors in New York.
