Get jump-start on fitness at free health program
Submitted by Jackie Kold Fitness and Yoga
Physical Therapy Advantage is hosting a free health program in conjunction with Jackie Kold Fitness and Yoga Inc. to help people jump-start their fitness safely for the spring and summer. “Spring into Fitness This Season” will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 23, at Physical Therapy Advantage, 35 S. Randall Road, North Aurora.
This free program is open to the public. Presenters are certified personal trainer and yoga instructor Jackie Kold and physical therapist Joe King.
“Although I train individuals of all fitness levels, I specialize in personal training and yoga for those returning to fitness from injury and those who have completed physical therapy,” Kold said. “Many people want to go back to the gym following a physical therapy program or injury, but they aren’t sure what they can or can’t do. This program will help bridge that gap for attendees and also help those that may feel inhibited by a current issue to know what the next step toward a fitter season should be.”
The program will help attendees to develop an individualized, total body fitness program and discuss the proper mindset to be successful with setting and achieving goals, with advice for all fitness levels. Attendees will also learn how form impacts muscles and joints, and how to develop awareness of the body during exercise to avoid injury.
The program will include demonstrations and question-and-answer time as well as presentation. All attendees will receive a helpful handout to begin a personal fitness program plan.
Registration for this free program is required. Call Physical Therapy Advantage at (630) 892-8003 to register. You can learn more about Jackie Kold and her studio by visiting www.jackiekoldfitness.com or calling (630) 584-2254.
