Multicultural fair in Waukegan

The Community Action Partnership of Lake County hosts the 5th Annual Anti-Poverty Why I Walk/Run & Multicultural Fair on Saturday, May 5. The 7k Walk/Run begins at 10 a.m., with registration/check-in beginning at 9 a.m. at the Community Action Partnership, 1200 Glen Flora Ave., Waukegan. The multicultural fair after the walk/run will showcase cultural awareness and understanding, ethnic foods, displays, vendors, kids’ activities and live entertainment to promote appreciation of other cultures. Guests will travel from country to country to learn about each culture, purchase samples of the cuisine, view cultural art and enjoy lively cultural entertainment.
