Palatine Park District Presents Susannah's Gift, A Benefit Event

On Saturday, April 28, Palatine Park District presents a benefit concert for Susannah's Gift. "In Memory of a Life So Beautifully Lived" will be presented at 2:00pm at Cutting Hall, 150 East Wood Street in Palatine, and will feature the Allegro Adult Chorus, the Palatine Children's Chorus, BJ Foley, Sandy Sandquist, Tamara Kist, Margie Dziadzka, Lucas Price and Susannah's Kids.

All proceeds from this benefit will be donated to Susannah's Gift, a scholarship program established through the Palatine Park Foundation to help residents who need assistance to participate in Palatine Park District cultural arts activities. Susannah Kist taught theater, music and craft classes for the Palatine Park District for 16 years. She lost her battle with breast cancer on December 4, 2009. Susannah wanted everyone to enjoy the arts right here in Palatine. Tickets for the benefit are $15 for adults and $12 for seniors and children. Direct donations to Susannah's Gift Fund can be made to Carol Lange, Palatine Park District, 250 East Wood Street, Palatine, IL 60067.
