Construction traffic on Grace Street begins for Great Western Trails Bridges Project

LOMBARD, Illinois—The Village of Lombard Public Works Department is announcing that construction vehicles began traveling to and from the construction site of the Great Western Trails Bridges project Friday.

D Construction Company will be bringing in equipment and materials on Grace Street from North Avenue to St. Charles Road for construction of the bridges at the Great Western Trail. There will also be semi-trucks carrying stone and other materials to and from the site. Construction will last until late November.

The Public Works Department asks that both motorists and pedestrians use caution when traveling in the area. Questions may be directed to Public Works at (630) 620-5740.
