Resurfacing projects under way in Des Plaines

Two road resurfacing projects are now under way in Des Plaines. The Cook County Highway Department will begin resurfacing Mount Prospect Road from Northwest Highway to Central Road starting Monday, April 23. The work is expected to continue through July. Meanwhile, the Illinois Department of Transportation is currently resurfacing Mannheim Road from Prospect Road to Higgins Road. That project also is expected to be completed by July.
