Police seek suspect in Glen Ellyn pharmacy robbery

Glen Ellyn police are searching for a man who robbed a pharmacy Friday morning and fled with an unknown amount of prescription drugs.

Officers responded about 10:30 a.m. to a report of a robbery at Glen Ellyn Pharmacy Health Care Shoppes, 486 Roosevelt Road. Deputy Chief Bill Holmer said the man entered the business, displayed a handgun and stole the drugs before fleeing on either foot or a bicycle.

No one was injured, he said.

The suspect is a white man in his 20s, wearing a dark green sweatshirt or jacket, dark blue jeans and a black bandanna.
