Community garage sale to support Fox Valley hospice

In conjunction with the St. Charles Community Garage Sale, more than 40 households have contributed to a garage sale benefiting Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice. The sale will start at 8 a.m. Friday, April 20, and Saturday, April 21, in the warehouse, 951 State Ave., one block east and north of routes 64 and 25.

There will be a wide range of items for sale, including furniture, clothing, toys, accessories, and more. In addition, hot dogs, chips and brownies will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to the hospice.

Fox Valley Volunteer Hospice is a nonprofit organization, offering support for those with life-threatening illnesses and the bereaved, medical equipment loans, community education on end-of-life care and grief, and a community lending library. All services are provided free, and Spanish interpretation is available for all programs. The agency supports all of Kane and Kendall counties, and parts of DuPage, Cook and McHenry counties.
