Letter insulted residents, voters
Why does the Daily Herald publish letters that are pure nonsense? The Friday, April 13, letter from Randy Rossi was particularly inane.
He was afraid at an Avon Township Board of Trustees meeting. Why? He never says, just infers that people who disagree with his conservative views are dangerous.
He insults all of Avon Township by saying the 99.99 percent of the registered voters in Avon Township “sat at home watching TV.” He knows that how? What about policemen, firefighters, hospital workers, students, etc., who were otherwise engaged at work or at school?
The 35 people or so in attendance were subjected to Mr. Rossi’s insults also. He claims to have “in fact, recognized a few of the attendees from the Kent State riots”. Really? Was he there?
Finally, Mr. Rossi wants the readers to believe that the Avonn Township Board of Trustees has the power to have an amendment to the United States Constitution put on the next ballot. He does not explain nor clarify what context this is in reference.
I did vote in the last primary, and because of my viewpoints I am afraid that Rossi would view me as extreme.
