Readers cheer on Fittest Loser contestan

Hoffman Estates police officer and 2009 Fittest Loser Challenge winner Lisa Notarnicola cheers on this year's competitors:

“There's a lot of fun trash talking that goes on between the contestants. How do I know? Because I was invited to work out with them at boot camp on Saturday mornings. What I have noticed about some of the contestants is the obstacles they face in everyday life. Things like the busyness of work, kids, family, an aliment or injury, or even a party to attend and the candy laying around from Easter. These obstacles are all part of the journey. It is the determination that will get all of them through ... having the willpower to strive for your goals despite all of the obstacles. Keep going strong, Katie, Karen, Tom, Mike, Brian and Matt!”

Notarnicola will receive a one-month membership to Curves.
