Author to speak in Grayslake

Richard Louv, author of “Last Child in the Woods”, will discuss his new book “The Nature Principle” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20 at the Prairie Crossing Charter School Gymnasium, 1531 Jones Point Road, Grayslake. The event is free but registration is required at http://www.libertyprairie.org. “Last Child in the Woods” linked the lack of nature in children’s lives with the rise in obesity, attention disorders and depression. “The Nature Principle”, offers a new vision of the future, in which our lives are as immersed in nature as they are in technology.
