Children find decomposed body in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. — Police say children playing on the rocks along the Lake Michigan shoreline in Kenosha discovered a decomposed body.

Authorities are working to identify the body found near the Anderson Arts Center Wednesday afternoon. Investigators were unable to initially determine the gender of the unclothed body, but later said it could be an adult male.

Kenosha County Medical Examiner Patrice Hall tells the Kenosha News investigators will be combing missing person reports in hope of finding an identity. An autopsy is expected to be done Thursday in Milwaukee.
