Aurora man pleads guilty to soliciting underage girl

An Aurora man who Cook County Sheriff’s Police said solicited sex from an underage girl he met online pleaded guilty in a Maywood courtroom.
A Cook County judge sentenced 33-year-old Joseph Pircon to 30 months probation in exchange for his guilty plea Wednesday to the class 3 felony, court records showed.
An undercover officer posing as a 13-year-old girl chatted online with Pircon for several months, said sheriff’s police in a prepared statement issued after Pircon’s March arrest.
Pircon arranged to meet the officer, who he believed to be a teenage girl, at a Bridgeview fast food restaurant where he was taken into custody, police said.
