Dist. 44 still accepting kindergaten registration for 2012-13

District 44 will again offer full-day kindergarten during the 2012-13 school year. There will also be the option for half-day kindergarten.

Registration for all students is ongoing. Preschool parents may stop by their local school between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. any day District 44 schools are in session.

To be eligible for kindergarten this fall, a child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1.

Parents are required to bring a certified birth certificate to the registration. Verification of Residency in District 44 is also required. Three current verification documents must be presented at registration time.
