Campton Twp. to host wildflower walk

Campton Township will host a Spring Wildflower walk with naturalist Jack Shouba at Harley Woods, north of Route 38 at the end of South Bowgren Circle.

The walk will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, and last for about an hour.

There is no charge, but space is limited. Call the township office at (630) 387-1016 for reservations.

Also, the township has set the spring brush pickup schedule: April 30-May 4, north of Route 64; May 7-11, south of Route 64; and May 14-18, Plato Township area.

In addition, Waste Management yardwaste stickers are available at village hall, 40W115 Campton Crossing Drive. The price recently increased to $2.70 each. Visit www.villageofcamptonhills.org.
