W. Dundee’s United Methodist Women welcome author and singer to weave stories and songs celebrating women

The United Methodist Women of First United Methodist Church will welcome Heidi Kramer and Kerri Sherwood at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the church, 318 W. Main St., West Dundee.

Kramer is an author, inspirational speaker, and breast cancer survivor. Sherwood is a singer/songwriter who records for Yamaha Records. Together they will weave their stories and songs that celebrate the life of women.

The performance in the sanctuary will be followed by the UMW Advent Tea & Cookie Exchange in the dining room.

Along with a variety of cookies and spiced tea, punch will be served as well.

Tickets are $2 and will be available in the Fireside Room. After cookies are exchanged, remaining cookies will be available for sale.

Both the performance and the Tea & Cookie Exchange are open to the public.
