Warren 17, Mundelein 14: Winning pitcher Jessica Demski helped her cause by belting a 2-run home run for the Blue Devils.

Vernon Hills 20, North Chicago 0: Jennifer Claussen and Michelle Harris each had 4 hits apiece, including 3 doubles between them, as Vernon Hills cruised to victory. Claussen also drove in 5 runs.

Pitcher Kristina Kliver got her first win of the season with a no-hitter. She finished with 9 strikeouts.

Carmel 7, Joliet Catholic 4: Abby Andrejek drove in 3 runs and had a double to lead Carmel in East Suburban Catholic Conference play. Sally Snarski added 2 hits for the Corsairs.

Huntley 12, Grayslake Central 2: The Rams gave up 20 hits to Huntley.

Brittany Brown went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI to lead the Rams.

Palatine 9, Buffalo Grove 2: Lauren Logan (2-for-4, 1 run), Kaileigh Moertl (2-for-3, 2 runs, RBI, 1 double) and Kayla Borgan (2-for-3, 2 runs) were top hitters for the Pirates who improved to 8-5 and 1-0 with the MSL crossover win. Megan Hedstrom (6-3) threw a 5-hitter with 5 strikeouts.

Becca Winter (1-for-3, 1 run), Jessie Lazzarra (2-for-3, 1 run) and Dea Barton (2-for-3, 2 RBI, triple) led BG (4-7, 0-1).

Fremd 11, Wheeling 0: Fremd improved to 10-2 and 1-0 as the Vikings were led on offense by Michelle Mazur (2-for-3, 2 runs, RBI), Megan Hubbard (2-for-3, 2 runs, 2 RBI, double) and Leigh Farina (double). Senior Rachel Doering (6-0) got the win over sophomore Katie Quagliano (1-3) of visiting Wheeling (1-4, 0-1) in the MSL crossover.
