More information on EAB needed, fast
Arlington Heights has again disappointed with the management of the EAB problem. The village has failed to inform the public fully.
Most of the people I have spoken with are either unaware of the problem or trust that the village will spray the trees and solve things.
What we need from the village is at the very least central management. Many of the ash trees are already meeting the limits of their life span and will need to be replaced.
All of the trees should be targeted and a full schedule for treatment and replacement over a 5-10 year period needs to be established.
