Secrets to Better Photography class being offered at historical museum

Learn to take great photos of all types: portraiture, landscape, macro and still life.

The four week class, Secrets to Better Photography, is taught by Bill Kruser and Cindy Kuffel, co-owners of Images by DavidKay, co-presidents of the Arlington Heights Camera Club, members of the Arlington-in-Pictures Committee and enthusiastic photographers.

Learn basic operations, composition, lighting and ask questions. Examples will be used and participants will share their photos with each other. For all ages of adults — high school through retirees.

The class meets from 1:30-3 p.m. Saturdays, April 14 through May 5, at the Arlington Heights Historical Museum, 110 W. Fremont, Arlington Heights. Fee is $60 for Arlington Heights Park District residents and $75 for nonresidents.

To register, go to ahmuseum.org, click on the “classes/programs” tab and follow the link for “Digital Photography.” In person registration is available at any Arlington Heights Park District registration office.
