Robert Morris commits to Arlington Hts. with ceremony

Robert Morris University will hold a ribbon-tying ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Monday, April 9, at the university’s newest campus, Forest View Educational Center, 2123 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights.

The event demonstrates the school’s ties to local communities and the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce.

Area elected officials will also attend, and a yellow ribbon will be included to show the university’s assistance to post-9/11 veterans.

The university’s financial aid includes grants, which enables students over the age of 21 who live in Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Prospect Heights and Wheeling to pay $5,000 per year.

Grants are also available to all students regardless of what town they live in if they are over the age of 21 who enroll in the College of Adult Continuing studies for evening classes.

The university’s football team plays at the campus.
