Sex assault charges dismissed after Antioch man’s death

Sex assault charges were dismissed Thursday against an Antioch man who died earlier this year.
Cook County prosecutors dismissed predatory criminal sexual assault charges against Timothy Harte, of the 2600 block of W. Woodland Ave., after an attorney produced a copy of a death certificate. A Daily Herald obituary indicated Harte died in February.
Harte, 41, had been indicted last year on charges that he molested a young girl from 2001 to 2005.
