Fiat industrial confirms 2012 targets

Fiat Industrial, the truck and tractor unit spun off from Italian carmaker Fiat SpA last year, today confirmed its financial targets for 2012, including about 25 billion euros in revenue and a net income of about 900 million euros.

“We foresee market conditions remaining generally positive in all sectors,” Chairman Sergio Marchionne said today in Turin at Fiat Industrial’s annual general meeting.

Marchionne also said that the truck and tractor maker aims to find a solution for the minorities of CNH Global NV and that he has several proposal on the table from investment banks on the matter.

Fiat Industrial owns 88 percent of the truck maker, which is listed in New York.
