‘Remember the Night’ at Chord on Blues to benefit Alzheimer’s research

Submitted by Gabby’s Kitchen

On Thursday, April 5, Gabby’s Kitchen and Chord on Blues will host “Remember the Night,” a night of live music to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

“Remember the Night” will take place from 8 to 10 p.m. at Chord on Blues, 106 S. Riverside Ave., St. Charles. Live music will be provided by C.J. Stanley Band, and all donations made at the door will go toward the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Illinois Chapter, whose mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s and to provide enhanced care and support for all those affected by it.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the largest voluntary health organization dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments and cure for Alzheimer’s. Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death and costs our economy $200 billion dollars each year, making it the most widespread and costly medical condition for which there is still no effective prevention, treatment, or cure. Donations raised from “Remember the Night” will be used for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research.

Anyone with questions on the event can contact or Charles Stanley at (630) 768-2719 or cjstanleyband@att.net. For information on the Alzheimer’s Association, contact Beth Alderson at (815) 744-0804.
