Palatine officials approve martial arts school
The Palatine village council this week approved a proposed martial arts school in the Plaza 14 Shopping Center, located at the southeast corner of Smith Street and Northwest Highway, in a space formerly occupied by Discount Cigarettes.
Business owner Kwang Suk Huh said the school, to be known as Palatine Yong In Tae Kwon Do, will operate 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and Saturday mornings.
No more than about seven students will be allowed in a single class due to parking shortages.
