We’re ignoring our great privilege

We are one of a few countries with the supreme privilege of voting for the candidate of our choice for government offices. Why then is it necessary to make it so easy for people to vote? Early voting, absentee voting, mail-in voting, provisional voting, that-day registration and voting — all without a photo ID being required!

Why can’t people give even two hours of their precious time every two or four years to honor their country and select the candidate of their choice? Shame on us!
