We can’t ignore attacks on Israel
Recently Israel has been attacked. From the Gaza Strip the Palestinians fired more than 200 rockets into Israel’s southern region. People in Israel, sadly, have grown to expect this as it occurs from time to time without provocation.
There are several bomb shelters in Israel — a necessity to protect their people. When Israel experiences these unprovoked attacks, it is their right to protect their country. The world should be able to understand this, but many do not.
It is ironic that the world places blame for the Palestinians’ plight on Israel, the one Middle East country committed to protecting the innocent and attending to the wounds of the casualties, both Israeli and Palestinian. While all this has been happening the news media seem to be ignoring it. Why aren’t they reporting it? If Israel decided to retaliate, you can bet they would report it. Whose side are they on anyway? If they are not on the side of Israel, shame on them!
In the Bible, speaking of Israel, it says, “I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee.” (Genesis 12:3) If America does not continue to strongly support Israel, we cannot expect God to continue to bless us.
