Solve problem with more oil refineries

The high cost of gasoline is going to affect the financial recovery the United States is going through. It has been said that even with the oil speculators “betting on something happening in the Middle East (causing oil prices to rise)” part of the problem is “there are not enough refineries to manufacture gas.”

The government needs to have the gasoline companies build more refineries or lower profitability. The last refinery was built over 20 years ago and recently three closed down.

By building more refineries, it would: Put more people to work, lowering unemployment; Make more gas available, resulting (hopefully) in lower prices.
