Beer makers unite
In a show of solidarity, eight craft breweries will join together and take over the taps at Timothy O’Toole locations in Gurnee and Chicago beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31. Tasters can pick a venue for $15 and sample five craft beers and take home a keepsake glass, or they can make a day of it for $50 and hop a shuttle bus to the other location. Participating breweries include Stone Brewing Co., Three Floyd’s Brewing, Half Acre Beer Company, Dogfish Head Craft Brew Ales, New Belgium Brewing, Victory Brewing Company, Great Lakes Brewing Company and Two Brothers Brewing Company.
