Rain barrels on sale through Bataiva, Conservation Foundation

The city of Batavia, in partnership with The Conservation Foundation, is hosting the third annual rain barrel sale. Order online or in person.

The orders placed online are for credit card purchases only and cash/check purchases can be brought to “The Conservation @ Home” program from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 12, at city hall, 100 N. Island Ave., Batavia, and placed directly with the Conservation Foundation representative.

The Conservation Foundation Rain Barrels are 60 gallons each and made from recycled food-grade plastic rain barrels that come equipped with a spigot, garden hose threaded overflow and screen in the top to help keep out bugs and debris, and have screw-off lids. These barrels sell for $75. They are available in the following colors: black, gray and terra cotta.

To place an order go to cityofbatavia.net/rainbarrels anytime from now until Wednesday, May 2. The orders will be delivered Saturday, May 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. to Clark Island Skate Park located along the Fox River off Route 25 at approximately 411 S. River St. Bring your receipt.
