Grayslake garden club offers scholarship

The Grayslake Greenery Garden Club is committed to encouraging interest in all phases of home gardening, promoting civic beautification and promoting conservation of natural resources. To help promote these goals, the Grayslake Greenery Garden Club is announcing the offering of its annual scholarship for the 2012 school year.

The competition for up to $1,000 is open to any full or part time student from Lake County who is majoring in horticulture, ecology, conservation or other related fields. The money from the scholarship will be applied to tuition or textbook costs.
