Elgin’s Perryman sisters combine for no-hitter

The Perryman sisters had it going on Wednesday afternoon.

Hannah and Jennah Perryman combined for a no-hitter as Elgin’s softball team defeated Oswego East 5-0 in Oswego. Hannah Perryman pitched the first 5 innings with 12 strikeouts and 2 walks to earn the win. Jennah Perryman struck out 3 in the final 2 innings.

Anna Eckholm (2-for-4, 2-run HR), Monica Stockman (2-for-4) and Kelly Bremer (2-for-4) led the offense for the Maroons (5-2).

Leyden 16, Larkin 1: Nikki Banks had an RBI double for Larkin (1-8) in this nonconference loss. Kiernan Schock was the losing pitcher.
